Thank You for Electing Me as Your Mayor.

I would like to thank the citizens of the City of Abbeville for trusting me to represent you as your next mayor. I look forward to working with the council and our city team to continue to improve our beautiful city and serve the needs of our constituents.

I believe that, through friendships and positivity, people can make a difference in a community.

I share this victory with my family, friends, and supporters. You’ve supported me with your time, your hearts, your funds, your voice, and you invested in my vision for Abbeville. I will never be able to repay you for your faith in my ability to lead our City, but I will try everyday to make you proud through my actions and decisions.

I would, also, like to thank Mayor Mark Piazza for his devotion and service to the City of Abbeville. I hope to honor his legacy as the council and I continue to move our city forward.

During my term as Mayor, I want to lead with positivity and focus on our hopes. I want to embrace the tough conversations and create a plan to solve problems.

So let’s look at where we’ve been, but not stay there. Let’s learn from our history and build on it. Let’s bring new voices into the conversation, create a plan and put it into action.

I challenge you to volunteer, it doesn’t even matter where or with whom. Your city needs your unique character and singular point of view, and your goodness will spill over and inspire others.

I love Abbeville and I know firsthand just how very special the people of this city are.

Thank you, again, for entrusting me with this position, and I promise to work hard everyday to make Abbeville a better place to live and work.
