Committed to community. Dedicated to progress.
"We have proven what thoughtful planning, accountability, and collaboration can achieve. I am proud of all that we have accomplished, but there is still important work ahead to keep Abbeville moving forward. We need steady, experienced leadership— and our community deserves continued progress built on a strong foundation." Roslyn White 2026

Roads Update
Not only did downtown see a transformation of streets and enhanced accessibility, but we also made significant investments in neighborhoods across the city, including improvements to Graceland Street, adding sidewalks, and drainage upgrades, and improved access along the MLK corridor. These projects reflect my commitment to improving quality of life in every part of Abbeville.

In total, 10 city roads have already seen major repairs with 12 more coming over the next seven years.
Parks Update
We have continued to invest in our community parks, installing new playground equipment at Parker Hebert, adding ADA access at AA Comeaux and McKinley Scott Park and making ongoing improvements at Herbert Williams Park.
We also completed a handicap accessible fishing pier and improved bank slopes at Lafitte Park for safer access to fishing.
Digital Update
We have continued to focus on improving transparency, communication, and civic engagement. Through livestreamed meetings, emergency notifications, expanded digital access, and community partnerships, residents can see what’s happening in real time and stay connected to their city. We have also increased our social media presence with the help of our Digital Communications team.

A Vote for Our Future
A decade ago, I watched young adults become very active in our community. I watched them create new organizations, volunteer their time, and actively seek to create a better quality of life for our community. I'm proud to have been part of that movement. But, I've also seen our businesses struggle, our very skilled younger generation leave for more prosperous areas, and politics, pandemics and natural disasters threaten to set us back. There was a time I didn't see myself being involved in government, but people and communities evolve.

Four years ago, you elected me Mayor of Abbeville. I made a promise to bring new energy and vision to our community, to think outside the box, be an agent for change and devote my full attention to improving Abbeville. I have fulfilled that promise but I am just getting started.
